Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

Welcome to Cedarvale Health and Lifestyle Retreats. These Terms and Conditions govern all reservations, program enrollments, facility usage, and website interactions. By making a booking or visiting our premises, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

01

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a retreat stay, participating in our programs, purchasing products, or using our website, you enter into a binding agreement with Cedarvale Health and Lifestyle Retreats. If you are making a reservation on behalf of another guest, you warrant that you have authority to bind that guest to these terms.

02

2. Nature of Retreat & Health Disclaimer

Cedarvale operates lifestyle medicine and educational health retreats. Our services include plant-based nutrition education, hydrotherapy, lifestyle modification guidance, stress-reduction techniques, and supportive therapies designed to encourage natural healing and wellbeing.

Cedarvale is not a hospital, crisis facility, or acute psychiatric clinic. Our programs are designed to complement, not replace, medical treatment from your personal medical doctor. If you have pre-existing medical conditions, chronic illnesses, or are taking prescription medication, you are strongly advised to consult your doctor before attending.

03

3. Health Disclosure & Guest Responsibility

To ensure a safe and effective retreat experience, all guests are required to complete our pre-arrival health assessment accurately and disclose any relevant medical history, allergies, physical limitations, or medications.

Cedarvale reserves the right to decline or postpone a booking if our health team determines that a guest's medical requirements exceed the supportive care capabilities of our retreat setting.

04

4. Smoke-Free, Alcohol-Free & Substance-Free Sanctuary

To preserve an optimal healing environment and protect the respiratory health and peace of all guests, all Cedarvale retreat premises (including guest rooms, common areas, balconies, gardens, and walking trails) are strictly 100% smoke-free, vape-free, alcohol-free, and illicit drug-free.

Breach of this policy may result in immediate termination of your retreat without refund.

05

5. Deposits, Payments & Rates

Room reservations require a non-refundable deposit of $500 to secure dates. The remaining balance must be settled on or before your arrival date.

All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include program activities, scheduled treatments, educational sessions, and plant-based meals as specified in your retreat package.

06

6. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Transfers

All cancellations, postponements, and transfers are governed strictly by our Cancellation Policy:

• Deposits are non-refundable. • Reservations postponed or cancelled may be transferred once and must be redeemed within 6 months. • If the transfer is not redeemed within 6 months, the deposit is forfeited. • No refunds or credits are granted for early departures, missed meals, or unutilized treatments during your stay.

07

7. Guest Conduct & Retreat Atmosphere

Cedarvale is a sanctuary of peace, quiet, and restoration. Guests are expected to treat fellow retreatants and staff with courtesy, kindness, and respect. We observe quiet hours in the evenings to facilitate deep, restorative sleep. Cedarvale reserves the right to ask any guest exhibiting disruptive, unsafe, or abusive behaviour to leave the premises without refund.

08

8. Personal Belongings & Property

Guests are responsible for their personal property, vehicles, and valuables while on retreat grounds. While we provide secure and peaceful accommodations, Cedarvale accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal items unless caused by gross negligence on our part.

09

9. Intellectual Property

All educational lectures, program materials, plant-based recipes, health manuals, graphics, photographs, logos, and website content provided by Cedarvale are the intellectual property of Cedarvale Health and Lifestyle Retreats and may not be reproduced, distributed, or commercialized without prior written consent.

10

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law (ACL), Cedarvale's liability for any breach of statutory guarantee or term is limited to the resupply of services or refund of the cost paid for the retreat program. Cedarvale will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from your retreat stay or website use.

11

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales and Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Australia.
